Memento (noun)

Meaning –an object kept as a remainder of a person or event.

Example of using it in a sentence: "Nicola takes a photograph as a memento when she climbs mountains.”

Synonyms: souvenir, keepsake, reminder, token

Spelling Tip – when we say this word we often say ‘mermentoe’ so you can as ‘me’ + ‘men’ the me to remind you that the souvenir or keepsake is kept by you (me).
