Somewhere in the world they are celebrating National Dictionary Day! If you don’t know your alphabetical order - today is the day to practice. Here is a simple game you can play anywhere any time Alphabet Animals.
The rules are that you with a friend or in a group list animals in alphabetical order. If you’re playing with younger children then you allow cat, dog, fish etc. and help them with the letters, i, j q, x, y and z. Start with the alphabet written down so you don’t miss any letters out and you learn the correct order. As you get more familiar with the order you can do away with the alphabet written down. Everyone has to say an animal for the letter before moving on to the next.
