About the event

It is hard to imagine the world without colour.  Doctors check for health through the colour of a patient’s skin. On a late, cool autumn morning, sparkling frost and leaves changing from green to vermillion signal a change of seasons. A flush of colour in the cheeks of friend sends a cue of her embarrassment. The street light turns from green to yellow, to red. In the rock layers of sediment range in colour from black to pale ash. From darkening skies before a storm to the undulating fragile glow of the aurora borealis, colour in nature moves us to pause and enjoy or to warn us of impending danger. All these signs alert us through their change of colour to some sort of useful information.

So today,

1) Art: open a box of crayons or watercolours and artists lose yourselves in a world of your own creation.

2) PSHE and Cultural: Do some…
